The one about the 85% saving on First Class (Cathay Pacific to Hong Kong and beyond and Japan Airlines to Tokyo and beyond), sent last week.
The other savings too, Business and First Class, on other international airlines and routes weren't half bad... 48 to 61%.
Such savings are good reason to join American Airlines' mileage program now, if you are not yet signed-up.
Because while the June 12 deadline has passed for that particular anomaly opportunity, I reckon within a few months or less we will be saying to FCFmembers "here we go again".
And only those who have had an American Airlines mileage account for at least 30 days will be able benefit from the strategy.
Don't fly American?
Don't want to fly American Airlines?
Doesn't matter.
That's the whole point of the underlined 'and' in the lead story's headline:
Fly Deluxe for Fewer Bucks the World Over on American Airlines and its 26 Partners (current issue, First Class Flyer).
