A delay in production of the carrier’s next four Boeing 777-200LR aircraft has pushed the Los Angeles–Dubai launch date to Oct. 26, and San Francisco–Dubai to Dec. 1. Passengers with bookings before these dates should contact Emirates’ reservation department at (800) 777-3999. The silver lining: The delays have led the carrier to offer bonuses for online bookings through March 9, 2009: 150% for First Class, 70% for Business Class, and 30% for economy.
