Sharing EasyUp New Route Score
I have been shopping for flights to Nice and found a Delta economy fare from Memphis with an upgrade to Business for $362 each way, which brings the total to $2,149 round-trip. Just thought you’d like to know. By the time you check, it may be gone!

New EasyUp Works For Me
I have two time-shares in the U.K. from March 23 to April 7. I found a $2,158 Business Class R/T fare LAX-JFK-Manchester for March 22 departure and April 8 return. Even though the fare is $265 more than my usual $1,193 economy fare plus the $700 upgrade to Business, it’s a better routing than my usual route of LAX-Heathrow-Edinburgh. As I have the upgrade at booking, this is a big blood pressure positive! EasyUp fares work for me.

My wife and I are going to Italy with a tour company that we have used in the past. We decided to visit Barcelona beforehand and we arranged our own air, as we have found that the tour company does not get the most convenient connections.
We planned to depart from Philadelphia or Dulles to Barcelona and return from Venice. I tried many airlines and consolidator sites, to no avail: fares ranged from $4,216 to $4,888 each for the best schedules.
I was staggered to see Delta’s fare of $1,964 Business Class for our itinerary. The six-hour layover at JFK and the short flights to and from Dulles in economy are more than offset by the $5,234 we are saving. We will fly from Barcelona to Naples, the jumping-off point for the tour, on our own for $206 each.
You’re right about being constantly on upgrade patrol to get the best deal.
