Iberia to Offer New Premium Economy Class
In mid-2017, Iberia will install the new cabin on eight Airbus A330-300s and 13 A340-600s, and on 16 new A350-900s to be delivered starting in 2018. The seat stats: 19 inches wide, 37 inches of pitch, 40% more recline than economy seats, adjustable head and foot rests, noise-cancelling earphones, and an amenity kit. Lufthansa’s First Class Cash Upgrades at the Airport
It’s hit-and-miss compared to booking and buying a First Class ticket far in advance. Lufthansa’a airport upgrades can only be purchased from full-fare Business Class tickets. Discounted tickets (I and P fares) are not allowed. Upgrades from the U.S. range from $1,570 to $1,680 one-way to Frankfurt and Munich. More.
