Japan Airlines has announced new Premium Economy service to Tokyo from New York (starting Aug. 1) and San Francisco (Sept. 1). Tickets are being sold now.
Premium Economy gets its own cabin and offers shell-shaped seats with sliding backs and individual power outlets. According to JAL, amenities and entertainment options are the same as in Business Class.
Customers can check in at dedicated counters at Tokyo’s Narita airport and at Executive Class counters in the US.
