Business Class fares to Asia are on the rise. Only a couple of years ago they could be found easily for $2,000 round trip, but now they cost $3,500+. The lowest fares our survey turned up have three things in common: They’re all to Manila; they’re all on Northwest; and they’re all about $1,000+ less than most of the competition. The sample Northwest fares below are booked in Z class; ask your reservationist to look for fare-basis code ZRXMNL. Most of the airline’s aircraft are fitted with seats reclining to 176 degrees.
