Thanks for your tip on the Singapore Airlines fare. I’ve just booked my flight. I found out a few things that might be of interest:All flights must be on SQ-flagged carriers – no alliance partners or code shares. There is no “backtracking.” In effect, the fare is only good on “mainline” SQ routes moving east to west or west to east. There may be surcharges that the booking agents don’t know about. It’s still a good fare…Anyway, thanks again for the tip. And caveat emptor.

Just writing to thank you for the article about the triple elite qualifying miles in this month's issue (April 09). I had just booked a trip from San Diego to Barcelona on Delta.
