What’s more, many airlines included mileage award tickets in their “change fee waiver” policies due to the virus. The policy does vary by airline (see our widget here), but in general, the policy waives the redeposit fee for mileage award bookings. That alleviates a lot of the pressure of whether to book or not. Many of these airline waivers are still in place at publication time.
