All Nippon (Star Alliance): Just launched a new flat-bed seat in Business Class and a new Premium Economy seat on B777-300ERs flying Washington, DC-Tokyo Narita (four flights weekly). The seat is already on B777-300ERs from Chicago, LAX, NYC, and SFO to Narita. All Nippon Link

United Airlines (Star Alliance): As of March 18, it started removing First Class on three cabin transcon flights. The Business Class section is being refitted with new flat-bed seats. However, the number of premium seats has been cut from 38 to 28, not great for award travel or discount premium fare availability. United Airlines Link

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (SkyTeam): Starts offering new flat-bed Business Class seats on B747-400s in July, with completion slated for April 2014. But Business Class cabins will be reduced from 42 to 35 seats. KLM Link
