When it comes to great low premium fares, Europe is most often the hot ticket. This month, however, we have seen great values all over the map.
It Was A Busy Month: We saw EasyUp fares starting at $2,153 (Miami-Milan) and West Coast Business Class fares starting at $2,689 to Amsterdam, Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, and Rome.
On Feb. 20, from the U.S. to Buenos Aires, Santiago, and Sao Paulo, many Business Class fares were discovered at $2,146 from Los Angele's.
There were amazingly low Business Class fares to Asia from the West Coast starting at $1,950 (Phoenix-Shanghai) and $2,420 from the East Coast (Philadelphia-Shanghai), which ran for days starting on Feb. 20 (turns out many Biz Class fares were less than coach on this one.)
On top of that, let’s not forget that the ever-high-priced Transcon route—Los Angele's JFK took another nose- dive, with fares starting at $1,300 on Delta which started on Feb. 13.
Now we’re also seeing more low fares from Canada: For example, spring and summer Business Class fares to Europe starting at CA$2,869 (US$2,309), on Feb. 25, and to Africa at CA$2,871 (US$2,311), on Feb. 19.
Keep these no-hassle, great-fare trends in mind when weighing against using miles for upgrades or free tickets.
