Two-Destinations-for-One, First Class

I urge you to scan this chart, paying particular attention to the economy fare in red and the corresponding First Class fare in green:

unnamed

How can this be so?

Well, all is revealed in the lead report in June’s Monthly Advisor, First Class Two-Destinations-for-One on United. Three pages of in-depth enlightenment (or a refresher course for those who know it) on FCF’s Stopover Loophole Strategy.

If you’re like me, deciding to go is the hard part.

Having decided to go, deciding to go longer is easy!

(If you love travel.)

On our last trip I met a retired guy—I’d seen him two nights in a row at dinner—who was doing the same trip as we were in reverse. He was on week four of a month’s trip around South America, we were on week two of a month’s trip around South America; we both agreed that every next week seems exponentially better than the previous.

The Stopover Loophole Strategy is one way to hit more destinations — and be away longer — for less than conventional wisdom suggests, or for business travelers to get more for their dollar.

Worth a read if either appeals.
