The airline was once our top-rated program for mileage upgrades to Europe: low B-class fares required only 20,000 miles. Now applicable fares have shot up as much as 81% according to our research. Even 60,000-mile upgrades have increased as much as 53% over one year ago. See chart below for changes. Fares based on high-season, mid week travel.
