Virgin America continues to expand its route network in the U.S., with Boston being the eighth, and latest, addition. Starting February 12, the carrier will fly to Logan from San Francisco twice daily, and from Los Angeles three times daily.
Round-trip First Class fares from the two West Coast cities will be $1,998 (not including taxes). Soon after announcement, Virgin's fare from Los Angeles was matched by competitors American, Continental, United, and US Airways. But in the air, few compare. Virgin's First Class seats are 21 inches wide and recline 165 degrees, better than most domestic carriers.
