Cathay Pacific has extended the All Asia Pass—one of its best deals going. The regular pass costs $1,299 ($1,599 from Canada), which gives you a round-trip economy class ticket (see upgrade add-on at right) from New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Vancouver, or Toronto to Hong Kong, plus 21 consecutive days of economy class travel to 17 other Asian cities on Cathay or its subsidiary Dragonair. The clock starts ticking the day you arrive in Hong Kong, so it might be best to overnight there to recover from the flight and then set off, saving a stay in Hong Kong for the end of the trip.
The other cities are: Bangkok, Beijing, Cebu, Denpasar (Bali), Fukuoka, Jakarta, Karachi, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Nagoya, Osaka, Penang, Sapporo, Seoul, Singapore, Surabaya, Taipei and Tokyo.
