What’s New: Routes, Aircraft, Seats

Qatar Update: As FCF reported in February, Qatar launched its new “super Business Class” last month, called QSuite. The new seats, configured 1x2x1 will house the first-ever double-bed in Business Class. Passengers booked in the center four seats can create their own suite—and the adjustable monitors contribute to the effect. More details here.

United: As of June 8, the carrier will offer lie-flat seats in its premium cabin on San Francisco-Boston, using B757-200 and B777-200 aircraft. Lowest Business Class fare on this route starts at $1,296 or 50,000 miles round-trip; upgradable economy fares start as low as $328 plus 40,000 miles and $150 co-pay round-trip.
