Early, deep-dive research indicates they too have their own hidden upgraded unities, unrevealed till almost now. Meaning otherwise uber-elusive upgrades can be achieved easily and cheaply using miles (whether have the miles in hand or not).
I must say, this is a topic I am finding refreshingly interesting… again. I’ve had it partially shelved for the last couple years. Sure, in the 90’s and until the mid-00’s, I flew everywhere on American, Delta, and United elite status cards but my upgrade mindset evolved as elite status made less and less sense for more and more travelers—including me.
